I've been having the symptoms last autumn before i got pregnant and it seems to dissapear after winter

Now, since summer i am having very bad cough, bringing up stuff and sometimes wheezing, it comes and goes, but seems everything is a trigger (pollen, cold air, too hot room).
Doctor thinks its astma and i am on brown and blue inhalers.
I am bit worries about the baby (doctor googled in front of me if its safe :) and having to use those after the pregnancy.

Anyone has developed asthma during pregnancy or their sympoms got worse?
Now in this dump weather nothing seem to help :(

Hey Hun I'm a brittle asthmatic, I have my own nebuliser & steroids. Baby is fine 😃. My lung consultant put it to me. That if I don't breathe what good am I too the baby?? And I have to be breathing to have baby.. So it's definitely better to take the meds. My asthma is very uncontrollable I have a lot of hospital admissions a year. And sometimes pregnancy makes it worse. I hope you're feeling better soon 😃

Yep. My asthma plays up in pregnancy. Ive had to have my puffer about 4 times a day the last few weeks. All my kiddies are fine :)

My asthma got worse with my 1st and 2nd LO's pregnancies. I was using my inhalers (Salbutamol, the blue one, and Seretide which is purple) all the time and needed a nebuliser a few times as well as steroids and antibiotics but my LO's are fine :). My doctor wasn't concerned about inhaler use having an impact on the babies at all.

Yeah I'm also on seretide 500mg looks like a huge purple smartie 😂😂. All has been fine with my babies

Thank you ladies, that is reassuring. I wanted to avoid those inhalers at all costs, but you are right, baby needs oxygen, i need to breath, so will try to tackle the source of it once baby is here.
Glad to know its fine for them
