Ok so its an odd question but we have an 07 vectra atm but we need to sell it soon as we have been told the clutch is going to go soon and will be £1000 to repair which is just far too much and we've had no luck its constanly going wrong any way we were looking at 07 focus but im not sure we would be able to get a double pram in the boot especially the one I want. So what car do you have and pram and would you recommend your car? Thanks

It's an 07 Focus we have and our Baby Jogger Double City Mini + 2 Carrycots fits into the boot fine with the parcel shelf:thumbup:

However, I think I'd struggle with some of the bigger twin buggies - what buggy do you have?

I've only got a stroller atm but the only double I like is the mountain buggy duet which is very similar to what you've got and we would need one carry cot im not sure how small yours folds but I've heard that the mountain buggy doesn't fold very small :S im off to google lol thankyou xx

Think the mointain buggy is narrower than mine so it might just be height wise where itd be a problem. However, with just one Carrycot worse case scenario is you may need to move the parcel shelf.

The baby jogger folds really well. Good luck on your search xx

We have the m+p Ultima which is quite a bulky travel system and it fits in our 07 focus zetec no problems x

We have the out n about nipper double v2 and it fits in the boots of both a skoda octavia estate and a 3 door clio ! it folds really flat considering it's a 3 wheeler off roading style buggy.
I tend to use the estate car with the twins and the buggy but I can use the Clio in an emergency.

We have a BMW 3 series (2009)that my husband drives which fits our iCandy peach blossom in it which consists of the wheel chassis, converter adaptors, seat unit and a carricot.

Then I drive a vauxhall zafira (2007) which fits it in even easier, honestly I can fit a whole weeks food shop (about 8 or 9 tescos carrier bags) the double buggy and there's still room. We had a zafira before my husband got his BMW and I missed the boot space so much that I got one for me to drive!

X

I have a Peugeot 307 and it fits my mamas and papas side by side double, just! I can't see out the back window when it's in

i have got a nissan qashqai and it fits by baby jogger sity select double or my baby jogger city mini double no bother.

Ancient fiesta here, and fits a city mini double or two singles

Volvo V70 here ('57 plate, but our old P reg 850 had the same size boot). I can fit my BJ City Mini double and my Babystyle Oyster at the same time. Plus my DH's box of "Car stuff" plus a bag of random bits and bobs (potty, colouring books, etc etc). And I can still get shopping in :)

We have a silver cross pram xx and the car is a Chrysler pt cruiser xx

I have just brought a BMW 3 series (splashed out with my inheritance ) and my bugaboo cameleon fits in there fine with a maclaren techno (nieces pram!)

We have a qashqai too but the boot is quite generous so sure that wont help you.

I had brought the pram before the car so i took it with me to try it out in the boot before i brought it.

Have a look at the Jane range. I went for over mb because baby can face both ways. Micro carrycot folds down too. I have a corsa and it all fits.

im hoping that with the parcel shelf off it will fit , i really dont want to have to change which pram i want , how selfish is that . we did have a look at some bmw estates aswell which will definatly fit it in. think i may have to hold off buying the pram untill we get a new car. Thankyou girls :flower:

We have a Jane Slalom R pushchair. I call it my monster truck lol becuase its so big. We have a Renault Laguna. I would recommend the petrol one, but ours is diesel and you have so many problems with them, especially the turbo. Cost us over 900 at its last MOT, wanting rid before the next one in July.

Oh heavens, that Renault diesel engine. Is that the 2.2? The annoying thing is that just about every other Renault engine is solid as a rock, but that one is just.... awful. We had a Renault Vel Satis and eventually had to get rid, after it cost us a fortune in repairs :dohh: So annoying as it was an amazing car. But that engine is one of the worst ever built. I heartily agree with you about getting rid - you'll never get anywhere with it. The guy who did the last repair we got told us in no uncertain terms to ditch our car ASAP, which we were lucky enough to do.

I've got quite a bulky single buggy and it fits fine in the boot of a Renault Scenic with loads of room to spare... alternatively it fits on the back seat with two large dogs in the boot... technically with room to spare but my dogs expand to fill all space available to them.

I have the Mountain Buggy Duet (love it!) and it fits easily in my Citroën Grand Picasso leaving room for the shopping too. It is true that the Duet doesn't fold very small, just quite flat-ish but it is narrower than any other side by side which is vital for Victorian houses and their narrow doors! In fact it was the only one we could fit through our front door! xxx
