I am a taxi driver and while it isn't a constant physical demand it has its moments

Lifting heavy cases, helping old dears up 3 flights of stairs with a weeks worth of shopping and pushing wheelchairs up the ramp being the worst. I managed all no problem, the one thing that bothered me was my mood. I hated everyone and couldn't be bothered with the 'banter' I ended up going off at 26 weeks because I just was so miserable at work.

Your work should do a risk assessment and make changes according to what the find re you doing your job, depends on the circumstances I guess, as I am self employed I either went to work or not, as no work ment no money.

Ah thanks Suzi, I'm sure work will do a risk assessment but the majority of my work is heavy lifting, digging bending etc, no other way to garden really. mmm Lol on the mood swings though! I hope i dont get too annoyed with people at work-mostly im alone so thats ok, but i already get fed up with the repetative comments people make!!
