Anyones family/friend had hip op?

Has anyones family member or someone they know of had a hip op?

If, so any sign affects can remember?

My grandma had 1 last wednesday, she was fine that day, fine thursday. Friday took funny turn is now in intensive care. No longer knows anyone, doesnt know where she is etc etc

Just curious whether thats happened to someone they know? Did they get there memory back or not?
