Hope you dont mind me posting this in hereas well, just trying to see if anyone has any advice.

I'm going to apply for a job ive just seen in the paper, a clothes shop is advertising for temp, casual and xmas staff. It says just to send your CV in but i will also write a covering letter as im pregnant and want them to know this from the start. Do i just say that im 15 weeks pregnant and am available to work up until 36 weeks and work out the date and pop it down too?

Thank you x

i would make it clear the date you be looking at leaving and just tell them that you will be fine working over the xmas period - good luck hun x

hiya i got a job at 20 weeks, i applied & then told them in the interview...that way they could see that im well presented-well spoken....etc etc......although it is discrimination - they might hire somebody else just because they think another person will have more energy etc than u....gd luck with whatever u do xxx

i got my job at 19 weeks but i didnt tell them , i dont think i would of have got it if it did!

good luck on what you decide to do x

unfortunately i agree - i wouldn't tell them until at least the interview stage. i imagine there will be a lot of applicants with christmas coming up, and employers tend to view pregnancy as a disadvantage. good luck - hope you get it! xx
