Hi all

Just wanted to share my "baby brain" experience with Aptamil Comfort.
I was going to bf, but my milk didnt come after a section and she needed formula. I bought a tub of the combination Aptamil in the hope that my milk would come through. I also bought a tub of Aptamil Comfort whichnit says is for bottle feeding.
Once the combination Aptamil finished, I went on to use the Aptamil Comfort. I noticed that my LO was having very very smelly wind and crying especially when trying to have a poo.
I noticed that she wasnt taking so much from the bottle, I thought there was something wrong with the teats or the bottle.... DOH :dohh: :dohh: :dohh: however, I thought I would google to see if the Aptamil Comfort was thicker, which to my suprise it is and I think that is why my little one was struggling taking it from the bottle. There is quite a bit on different forums about it causing tummy ache and frustration because of the thickness.

I just wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else has had the same problem

My LO has been on the comfort since 4 weeks old and is great on it. i have a fast flow teat on her bottle. she is much happier on it than she was on normal aptamil. Each baby is different though, some will agree with it and others wnt.my LO was always constipated and unhappy. when she changed onto comfort after about a week she was a different baby. she now poos regularly, at least 2 times a day and is very happy. It does give them wind to start off with but that is down to change in formula aswell.
