My baby didn't have constipation but had really bad wind and a gassy tummy so hv suggested aptimil comfort which has helped his tummy settle loads and helped his reflux. But today he seems to be pooing lots! We've only been on the comfort milk since Friday and his poo has changed so much! She did say it would be green but were past that today and back to yellow just lots!

Anyone else experience this?

My LO was on Aptamil Comfort for ages for his colic. He was never constipated, so I knew his poos would change and I was right. His poos went green pretty quickly and stayed that way with maybe a few yellowy ones, generally pretty loose poos too! Sometimes explosive ones, up the back, down his legs, total change of outfit type poos! But for me the benefits outweighed the side effects as I think it helped his colic and he didn't really care about the poos so we stuck with it!

Yeah true. He has been so much better and less sick on this milk. So we will put up with the yucky poo lol

My LO has been on comfort for 3 days and has not done a poo since changing. She is passing lots of wind.Do you think she is ok. She is fine in herself and still feeding well.

I wouldn't worry, I think they have to go a good few days with no poos for a doctor to consider that constipation. If she's fine in herself too that's a good sign I'd say, but definitely go to the docs if you're worried. Maybe her body is just adjusting to the milk. Did you switch over gradually or straightaway?

My LO is on aptamil comfort milk too and her poops are generally a lot loooser and greener! They certainly stink to high heaven, she has been on it for just over 3 weeks now and she seems to be pooping once a day now. However in the first week or so she was pooping loads!!! Gross and green but worth it for the colicky symptoms!

I've just changed to the comfort milk today to try and ease my daughter's colic and already just after 2 feeds her poo was revolting! But she seems to have settled a lot better and managed to get rid of all her wind, so think I'll have to put up with the huge dirty nappies.
