Hiya my baby as realy bad colic and is on sma hungry baby at the moment but i am going to change him to the aptimil comfort does anyone know if ill be ok using the same teats. im using tommee tippee bottles with stage 1 teats, its just that i googled and found people sayin it was too thick for the 1st size teats but i also fort they say this about hungry baby milk but ive had no problem with my teats with the hungry baby milk im using now  xxx

hi,
I just spoke to aptimal live chat as i am considering switching to comfort milk due to really bad colic they said you need a bigger teat as its thicker which apparently is one of the reasons it helps colic!!

definatly need a bigger teat with comfort milk hun. we use variflow tommee tippee teats x

thanks.. i dunno what teats to buy now tho. the stage 1 seemed fine wth hungry baby milk. and tht too is also supose to be thicker.. oh its all confusing this haha. never had no problems with my girls but logan is suffering realy bad with colic xxx

We brought 2 vari-flow teats and four stage 2 teats and we find the vari-flow are much better. Am going to buy some more vari flow ones tomorrow!

I used the stage 1 teats twice with the comfort milk before I had to do an emergancy dash to mothercare!

yeh i moved him on the aptimil comfort last nite n stil using stage 1 teats not sure how ill kno if i need change them they seem ok :-/ lol xx

I used size 2 teets with aptimal comfort but i also had to use same teets with aptimal hungry baby to. So you could be ok. Get the teets anyway as one way or other you will be using them eventually

When I used AC I put LO on vari flow tears, stage 3 teats wernt even any good, :) I use the tommee tippee ones like another last said xx

My son is on aptamil comfort and we use CTN bottles with vari-flow teats =]

Like everyone has said, youll definitely need bigger teats than size one. I tried with size 1's when i first changed LO to comfort and he couldnt suck the milk out, it took me a few minutes to realise why he was sucking so hard but the formula wasnt going down in the bottle. Oops!

I use the Cow & Gate Comfort, for colic and constipation, and I assume it's like the Aptamil Comfort. It's a thicker liquid, so what we did is cut a bigger hole in the teats to allow the liquid through. We bought the size 3 teats (three holes), but the holes are the same size so it doesn't actually help with the thicker liquid. You can also get variflow teats, which have like an "x" shaped cut in them, which allows a thicker flow. Or just bite a hole in the end of the teat like my husband did :dohh:

tommee tippiee do a teat specifically designed for thicker formula, which is ideal for comfort. lucas has had them and wer brill when he was on comfort.the link is under a topic i done called tommiee tippiee users. hope this helps
