Are her eyes going brown?

My baby is 5.5 months old and has had blue eyes since birth. Just recently I've noticed some brown streaks in her eyes. My SO has hazely-brown and I've got very light green that were blue until puberty.

DD1 got her daddy's eye color, but it was always pretty obvious she would end up with brown as they were always a gray color, then turned hazel, then brown. She never had a blue phase!

When did your babies eyes turn brown if they started blue?

Attached a pic for reference. Is this how blue eyes turn brown? I'm not familiar at all lol.

Beautiful eyes - going brown or hazel for sure. My daughters eyes did this very same thing, she was younger though. It started at about 8 weeks for her. The entire iris didn't go brown, there is still a bit of grey, they are an interesting colour. My eyes are blue and my OHs are hazel, his are quite dominated by green so I'm surprised neither of mine got green eyes.

DD2 will do the same as I can see where the tan streaks are going to start.
