Are OPKs really accurate?

im wondering whether to invest in OPKs this month or should I just be guided by ewcm & temps? I'm hopefully due to ovulate during the next week or 2, but my cycles aren't 100% accurate, so I'm wondering is it worth while investing in OPKs?

Do they really work? Have many of you got pregnant whilst using them?

Opks are accurate in the sense that it picks up ur lh surge for sure. But exactly when you o after ur lh surge may vary from person to person and using opks and temps I could tell my personal pattern after a couple of cycles. However opks don't guarantee O. Only temps confirm O. So I always used both opks and temps. But I think once u know ur cycle, opk is just sort of an FYI. We didn't change our bd pattern based on opks but some do.

For me I'd say temping is better than opks which is better than checking cm/CP. For me checking cm and CP only started making sense after correlating it with the rest of the data. For example now I know I get the most ewcm the day after ovulation. So I'd say cm/CP is more advanced.

i use opks to let me know its about to happen ( i normally o the day after opk positive) and use bbt to confirm an egg is on its way. opks cant confirm the eggie thats why most ppl do both worked for me

I used opk last pregnancy and conceived first try x hopefully like his this time , we are TTC this month so will be buying some opk this week.. Good luck x

Hi.. Ive been using for 2 cycles, first cycles worked fine and this cycle I'm pretty confused.. I had 2 pos ops cd 9 and 11... I bought the CB easy digital ones... even tough this month was madness I will keep using it, it helps a lot, I O'd earlier that I thought
