Are pre-labour pains always lower down?

Hi Girls,

Are pre-labour pains always lower down, like period cramps? I have pains in my back and belly, but further up, well above my belly button... don't suppose they could be labour pains?

Identical twins!! Congrats!! I had about the same age gap between my eldest and the twin boys.

I got back pain and period-like cramps. Not higher than the belly button though. It could be the pre-labor pains.
My twins came four weeks early!

Hi, your twins look adorable! How did you find the age gap with your LO? Was it OK or difficult to cope?

To be honest, it was tough and stressful the first month or two. My eldest is clingy, which didn't make it any easier. It's good to have snacks on hand and prepare everything the night before for the eldest child. It becomes easier after about 3 months. But I always have to prepare a lot for outings and schedule things around their naptimes. My eldest required and still requires a lot of attention, so luckily the twins are easier.
You will be fine though!
