are these true contractions?

The day before yesterday I had uncomfortable braxton hicks. Then yesterday at my doc appt she stripped my membranes after that I was feeling a little crampy/achey then nothing well this morning I woke up around 4:30 & couldnt go back to sleep that's when these contractions started first at about every half hour. By 8 they were every 15-20 mins now there 10-15 or 5-10 mins apart are these labor contractions or braxton hicks? I can feel the pain/pressure down there starting off dull then peaking then going down dull again it feels like a menstrual cramp.

Since they're getting closer and closer together, I bet they're the real deal!! I have Braxton Hicks all of the time that are painful, but they're not evenly spaced apart and don't ever get closer than 10-15 min apart.

My doc said when they start getting closer together to come in. Good luck!! xx

I would say they are contractions! Braxton hicks, as far as I am aware, don't last this long.
Relax and rest! Lol! Your in for a loooooong day and night!

Oh wow I guess I am getting ready! I also passed some mucus plug at around 9am I can also feel pressure in my back.
