Hi all,

As above really, we have one and it's a Godsend in getting baby to
sleep, however, I'm afraid that it is harming her in some way. It sounds silly but I'm worried that it's rattling her brain or something?! Also, it is really loud so I'm worried that it's harming her ears also. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Clare xx

I dont think it harms baby but it doesnt promote good sleeping habits IYGWIM?

My LO loves his, he sleeps in his cot great at night and will nap in there during the day but he naps so much longer in his chair. I wouldn't worry about it, they have been out for years now and I've never heard of any problems.

I can't imagine what harm it could do. Imogen had one, loved it, and sleeps like a dream. Teddy loves his. Unfortunately, Imogen also loved it, and broke it, so now he's in her old pink one :haha: They are such a useful tool for getting them to nap during the day.

my little man absolutely loves it and i only put him in it during the day- he naps and watched tv in it and it really does keep him quiet !! :D i would deffooo recommend uying one!! :D xx

Best £42 we ever spent on our chair lol Lola loves it and I can't imagine why the vibrations would harm her but I do feel like I'm getting her into a habbit of falling asleep with that on rather than on her own but hey I'll deal with that problem if and when it comes xx

We have a vibrating swing- sometimes it's the ONLY thing that will get Layla to sleep! Godsend, I highly doubt they're bad for baby or they wouldn't sell them. Haven't heard anything about it being bad for a baby. x

After a solid hour of crying this morning I would MARRY our vibrating swing because she is zonked out in it right now!!!

Babies are used to all sorts of rocking and swinging and patting from the womb onwards....they are hardy wee souls so I don't think they would be harmed by them!

Darcy loves her chair but hates having it vibrating!

Can't imagine it doing any damage otherwise they wouldn't be allowed to sell them xx

Rowan loved his chair and still does! the vibrating only worked for the first couple of weeks and then had no effect on him, I'm sure it does no harm to them :flower:

My LO loves his vibrating chair and his swing, the swing especially was a lifesaver during the bad dark colic days :happydance:

I agree with the other posts, if they were harmful they wouldn't be sold
