8pm - thunderbirds are go!!!!!!! 😀😀😀😀

I am aware that ovulation lasts around 23-48hrs. But is it that from the moment you hit 'peak' so your tests don't get any darker? Or does no one really know?
I can't seem to work out whether these tests are actually getting darker or not?

Heya, Steffy! To my very untrained eye, those do look progressively darker.

I am not very clear on the whole science of pinning down exact ovulation time, but I've read up on it. It seems no one is exactly sure unless you get a scan at a doctor's office.

However, it is my understanding that ovulation occurs (generally) within 24 hours of your peak surge. So what you might be seeing there is a lead up to the peak. I know that some women get positives for a while, like as many as 6 days, but if you get a negative in a day or two, it might pin down the peak more accurately.

Hope this helps. In the mean time, congrats on some awesome positive OPKs! FXed for you!

I think I am officially in the two week wait 😀 :baby dust:
