"Are you attempting to list a counterfeit or non-authentic item?" *Ebay help*

I'm selling a pair of adidas trainners that we got for LO as they don't fit, have never been worn, so i put them down as "New without tags" not sure why it's came up with "Are you attempting to list a counterfeit or non-authentic item?"

I've sold quite a lot on ebay since having LO and i've never had this come up before, does anyone know why?

It's just because it's a brand or listing category or type of thing that commonly gets abused by dodgy users, it's not a reflection on you at all I've had that pop up too xx

Ah thanks, it says "If you continue, your listing will be flagged and promptly reviewed." I've make the listing but i guess they'll "okay it" as i've done everything correct?. x

Yep

It's beyond me how many fake items still end up on there despite them doing this. Obviously not very good at it are they
