Just trying to give Sid his bottle... he has had less than 3ozs (usually takes 6) and just keeps pushing the teat ut of his mouth with his tongue?!

Its so not like him, especially as he was screaming fr his bottle 5 mins ago and he went 4 hours between feeds instead of the usual 3!

Any ideas what could be wrong?

hi

I don't defnitely know but could he be teething, i know my lo is a bit like that when his gums are hurting?

hope he's ok xx

My LO has been doing that on and off for the last week. He's had a cold and I think either that or his teeth is putting him off. Some days he's only had half what he normally has, and he's flatly refused several bottles. We've found sometimes if we give Dylan his dummy and wait til he's happy sucking that we can do a quick swap and get him to take a bit more formula.

Keep a note of how much of each feed he's having, and keep an eye on him to make sure he's not getting dehydrated. If he continues taking a lot less than usual for more than a day or two (or has other symptoms), get him down the doctors for a checkup.

my LO has been doing that and has a mild case of thrush, took him to the docs today and they gave him some gel stuff :) x
