Avatar help!!

Hi everyone im new here & im having trouble uploading my avatar. It is the right size but it keeps coming up saying 'unable to save image'. OH has been trying for ages, can anyone help?!

i'm having this problem today says unable to save file and has left me with no avatar

I just managed to upload a photo to my avatar.

I picked one from photobucket, resized it and saved it to my computer. Then I uploaded from the computer.
