Awaiting test results and nervous :s

Just posted this in TTC but thought here was relevant. Hubby did a semen analysis test last tuesday and we're still waiting for the results, but should know by Friday. Feel nervous as my friend is going thru IVF at the mo and it sounds rough

I'm literally praying its all good and he has turbo-sperm lol.

Hey huni my oh had his done few months back!!
They did come back bit lower than average but nothing to be worried over!! WE have therefore changed his diet and given him some wellman tabs and hoping it improves!!

I have read that alot of SA tests come back low the first time round but by improving on his diet and stuff the second tests really improve

Hope its good news for you. Bear in mind theyll ask him to do a second one in a few weeks time, and its the combination of these results that is considered to show a problem...sometimes the first will come back poor but the second will be fine

We had to wait over 2 months for OHs to come back and then they were wrong

I didnt realise he'll have to do a second one. He'll love that :/
Hmm so whatever these tests say isnt the be-all and end-all.
I have had a blood test that was 'fine'. But did that test tell me if I was ovulating or not? I had to have done at a certain time in my cycle.

Also....(sorry I'm new to this) we just have to ring up fr the results. I mean what can a receptionist tell u, what if u want to discuss it with the doc?
