We lost our second child William due to comlications from PPROM (waters went at 20.6 weeks baby born at 27.1 weeks) in 2009.
I am pleased to announce the safe arrival of baby Charlotte Rose, born on the 1st of Feb weighing 6llbs. I was induced due to high bp - they thought it hadn't worked them my waters went naturally and within 64 minutes she was born! it was awful at the end as they couldn't find her heartbeat and had to get a scanner - they found it but it wasn't looking good, there was no time for section so they were going to forecepts her out but I managed to push her out in minutes (officially 7 but was less!) i just found the power from somewhere. She had the cord round her neck and body. The doctors, midwifes etc.. were brilliant I can't fault the care I had.
Unfortunately hubby missed it all - stuck on the motorway as they closed it and the junction by the hospital... he got there just after she was born (after saying all pregnancy he wasn't going to be there he changed his mind and was gutted to miss it).
I feel VERY lucky she is here safely. The pregnancy was increadibly stressful - and I had so many complications and worries but looking at her she is worth it.
