Baby asking for milk from other people?

So, my LO can sign milk and please, and uses both signs when he wants me to feed him myself with breastmilk.
Sometimes when he is sat on my lap and he wants some milk he will kind of gently pat on my boobs.
Now earlier he was sat on my Mum's lap and he did the please sign and then kinda patted on her boobs too!!....we both kinda laughed but still!!
Bit weird that he doesn't totally associated milkies with me seeing as he's never been fed by anyone else?!
Has anyone else's breastfed babies ever showed any interest in anyone elses boobs or 'milk'?

Also have to say I'm not totally sure he was asking for milk...he wasn't doing the milk sign after all...

It might have been him just being a baby so to speak, or noticing that someone else has boobs, particularly if he didn't sign for milk.

My lo nuzzles on people's boobs at times, even my husbands (when he's topless) !! I think it's just knowing that boobs are there and assuming that milk comes out of them all!

My son 24 months likes to fondle boobs (blush) he used to only fondle mine qhen he waa nervous or board lately he will do it to my mom I think it is a comfort thing he haa never as for boob from anyone else

My LO gets frustrated that my mom and grandmother aren't able to feed her. She knows they have breasts so why won't they let her latch. When she wants fed she'll start yelling "rang rang!" until I feed her. Today she was cuddling with my mom and looked up and asked for rang rang. It was cute.

My baby will attempt to latch on to any breast that comes near her! Or a shoulder, a cheek, a neck...

Once I was holding my friend's newborn son and he started turning into my chest and rooting. Force of habit I actually unclipped my nursing bra! Then realised that this wasn't my baby to feed!
