I'm looking at baths/bath supports at the minute and I'm really confused what to buy! My OH got given a bath support thing from his work colleague but I really don't like it. It's this one:

It just looks a bit flimsy and you have to take the towel off and wash it in the washing machine which seems like hassle?

I have a top and tail bowl and thermometer from 'I love my bear' range and they do a matching baby bath.. but nearly everyone I've spoken to says the big baby baths are a waste of money and space and that supports are so much better??

Arggg I'm confused, what is everyone else getting for their baby's? xx

i was thinking about getting this

my mum says is just easier to have a proper bath so can put it in the big bath instead of balancing over sink or heating up water.
but honestly i no idea i just going off what people tell me

OH brought me this one, I think it's gonna be really good https://www.mothercare.com/Winnie-t...r_1_15&nodeId=42855041&sr=1-15&qid=1316702031

Yep they are a waste, we had one because we lived in a flat when LO was first born and we only had a shower.
By the time she was 2months, she'd outfrown it. But then again, I can't complain, it was £2 from morrisons :haha:
She prefers the big bath now, she had a plastic support thing that was great.
She's getting too big for that now, so I'm looking at a seat for her.

id personally get a bath support like this https://www.mothercare.com/Motherca...041&pf_rd_p=231490867&pf_rd_s=related-tab-3-5,

the baby baths seperately are going to be a pain to fill/unfill.. obviously you can only use a bath support if you have a bath but if you do it will save so much effort and a lot of mums i've spoken to have barely used baths they're to much hassle they've just ended up taking them in the bath with them :flower:

Yeah I was looking at baby baths like these to match my top and tail bowl and thermometer but lots of people seem to say they're a waste of money as they don't support the baby so you have to hold it and they take up a lot of space? Ah I don't know lol. I'm living with my parents and I don't know whether they'd be happy with something taking up that much space in the bathroom! xx

That's the one I've got. Cadence comes in the bath with me or daddy because it's so much easier to wash her hair and her body that way.

Ahh that does look nice, i've seen a similar one in Asda that's cheaper so might look into that. There's so many options it's confusing. xx

Baby baths are pointless. We had a little sponge support thing that I laid her on in the tub and that's all I used til she could sit up on her own, now I just use the regular tub.

I dont like the plastic bath supports, they look like they'd stick to LO's wet skin, i have the little material one that you can rewash.

I also have a bath set from mothercare.

My mum in-law got me a changing station and you lift up the changing mat and there is bath underneath, the only hassle with it is that you have empty it through a pipe. I don't think i'll be using it but i suppose its quite handy to have. I have no idea where she got it from. I'm going to use the ilovemybear bath until i can take him in with me :)

https://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3768741.htm I plan on getting this (blue or pink depending on sex of baby) but my Mum had one for my brother and it was brill. He sat in it well and she was able to wash him and had both hands free.

I agree. We haven't used a baby bath. We have a Summer supporter, and give her a bath in the sink. Once she's only enough to play in the tub and sit up well, we'll move her to the big tub.

^ Yep, we have one exactly like that. Like I said, we just stick in in the sink and she LOVES it.

baby baths are a bit pointless , we used a back support mesh thing

i have one like the one you showed in your Original post from Mamas and papas and Isabelle loves it, it stays warm from the water unlike plastic ones and its comfy for her and doesnt stick to her skin or she doesnt slip on it.

We used Hollies baby bath once, its now used as her laundry basket! :dohh:

Hollie eather gets in the bath with me or (we did this till she could sit unaided) fill the bath up with water so when she is laying down in it the water is just below her earsand put a flannel or a muslin square in the water to cover her keep her a little bit warmer and that way I could use both hands to wash her and play with her,

Now she just sits up in the bath and I wash her and she plays away. I'll be doing the same with this LO too, saves time and money.
