ok so looking for one to go on front or back for when Lo is just over 1 year old since we are planning on going camping and that involes long walks witch you cannot really take a pushchair along, so looking for something which wont brake mine or Oh's back but be able to take the weight of a 1year old.

I use my moby the most but i don't know if your oh would do wrapping but the moby is brilliant and my ds is 26lb ish now.
My dh has a close baby carrier and he loves it i'll try and get you some links in a mo.
Other than that oh friendly slings are the connetecas (sp?)

Off to get some links for you now hun x

Hi, I to posted about this and after a lot of research I found the connecta integra to be the best carrier for me as it goes from newborn to toddler and my DD is nearly 11 months. It comes in fantastic colours and patterns and its a soft carrier so it folds up small and is really lightweight. I loved the look of the baby hawk mei tei but was a bit scared of all the tieing(SP) of the straps whereas with the connecta its clips. hope you find what your looking for.

Hi! I have to second that recommendation for the Connecta. I have used mine from DD being 6 weeks old and still use now (at 21 months) for back carrys. DD is definately no lightweight either, she is 91st centile for both height and weight! You can get either the original connecta (the hood is an extra) or the new Integra which pp mentioned which has an integral hood and is apparently a bit lighter weight, although I don't think mine is particularly heavy weight tbh!

I think you should get elastic wrap. I found is the best for my 11months old boy.
When we go for long walk he can get great nap, he can strech after nap, and wiggle a little bit ;] My fovourite one now is Atifa wrap.. not really expensive, second good one is Moby

I love the moby, I think it's really versatile. But them the mei teis are so pretty too but o don't have one sp can't comment other than that x
