baby flicking her ear like a dog (lol)

Oh my word this was funny but not anymore.

She keeps flicking her right ear with her right hand, like the dogs do to get the flies off. I checked the ear, there is nothing on it, no flies in the house. Then i thought earache, kept pressing on the ear and around - no reaction from her, no discomfort.

Is this another discovery (oooh i have ears) or is something bothering her?

My friends little girl does this when she is tired.

My dd does this too with both ears, also a tiredness thing. People have suggested ear infections but I don't think it is with her

Thanks you girls. I noticed that she is flicking it quite frequently. Unless she is tired all the time.. i dont know. Usually when she is tired she rubs her eyes and yawns which are quite clear signals for nap/bed. Maybe flicking the ear is a subtle hint to slow down/stop playing/wind down.... tricky.
