I have a deep belief that names mixed with birth dates have an impact on who a child will become. With that being said, we have decided on the name Lilith.

Lilith has a negative biblical meaning behind it but the ultimate meaning for our unborn daughter is amazing.

What are the feelings on this name?

Lilith is one of my favourite names. Lilith and Mary Magdalene only are negative (IMO) because they were such strong female energies. Not a bad thing IMO. Lilith and Mary are both amazing energies to work with, Both representing the previous suppressed but now rising female energy!

Lilith's mantra is equality and standing up for what we believe.

Definitely not a bad name. I love it.

Lilith is a beatiful name. It was on our list for our dd before we chose Aurora. A name is what you make it. Just as one character named Lilith happenes to have a negative biblical meaning does not mean the name is negative. I'm pagan and for us it's a very powerful name, Lilith was a strong female character and is seen as wise, compassionate and all knowing. Just shows how different beliefs can see a name in a different light. To me a name by its self means nothing, the person given it makes a name what it is.

Okay, so I doubt that many people would feel the same as I do, but as a big fan of True Blood, I would avoid it. Sorry.
(If you google image search True blood Lilith you will start to understand why... NSFW)

Same association for me too, but if u never watched true blood then it doesn't have that link, I do like the name itself x

I like it but struggle to look past the true blood connection

I like it but I prefer lily as that's what i named dd so I am biased :)

Love it! My only association is Frasier's wife in the sitcom and I love her as well. :-D I haven't seen True Blood but I think I'd trust that by the time your baby is old enough to care, that won't be a thing anymore (is it a thing now?). So I'd go for it.

I love it! Pretty name like Lily but not as common so I actually prefer it... I wouldn't worry about the meaning, it's not going to have any influence on your child's personality

I've never watched True Blood or gone near a bible of any sorts, so no negative associations here. It's a very pretty name.

It's nice! My first association is actually Frasier's ex-wife as well which is strange because I haven't seen that show in probably 15 years. I watched True Blood and didn't make the association at all.
