Lo is ebfed & has been pretty good until the past few days ( I think he is going thru a growth spurt). He has not been sleeping or settling well & now seems to grunt like he is pissed off & almost cries & tries to refuse the nipple, I then keep putting it in his mouth & he continues on ok.

I did have 1 small glass of red wine with lunch on Saturday & Sunday, could the taste of it be in my milk still?

My LO does this occasionally and it ends up being due to gas and/or reflux. LO was put on Zantac when he was born (the doctors didn't "confirm" reflux though but I felt very strongly that he had it).

He does get pretty bad gas at least once a day & won't settle until he has done a massive fart! He just projectile pooed on me too, yuck!!!!

Could be any number of things, gas could be the culprit but I do remember my LO having bouts of fussyness on the boob and it can also be down to frustration with milk not letting down fast enough, usually during a growth spurt. Try winding during a feed and keeping bubs upright for 15 minutes or so after a feed and see if this makes a difference. Failing that see how things are in a couple of days. If the problem gets worse or remains the same might be worth looking into for reflux.

I would say wind or needing to poo, they seem to become more aware of these things at a few weeks old xx

Sounds like gas to me. My daughters been super gassy lately poor thing wakes out of a nap grunting and whining I think it's due to the vitamin d supplement so I've stopped giving it to her to be sure it's not my milk..when she's real fussy on my boob I'll take her off and burp her usually if she burps she'll be fine after ward if not I have to lay her down and wait til she either farts or poos.

My LO does this! Not every evening but most evenings and sometimes I think it is gas that she's built up during the day as she doesn't always bring wind up after a feed no matter how I burp her. She acts like she's hungry and then after taking the nipple in her mouth she pulls a face, draws her knees up and strains. The other day she was doing it so I started burping her, she did a massive fart then fell asleep instantly!

Exactly what Flynn does!

Gas, poop, or reflux! Usually it is a poop with mine, but lately I suspect reflux too.

My son does this too, just recently at 6 weeks old. I just try my best to soothe him, rubbing his head, talking to him gently, and eventually he rips a big one, stops to belch, or lets out a huuuge poop.
