EEEK!!!! I want to start using my freezer stash because it (and my baby) is almost 3 months old. The problem is that she wont eat it!!!! She went from eating 4 ounces (she has always been bottle fed because she was tongue tied and never latched properly) every time to barely 2 at a time, and she cries all the way through! I have been working on this for 2.5 days. I gave her a bottle of fresh today, and she ate 4.5 ounces without crying. Is this common? What can I do? I would imagine that this transition is no different than switching from breastmilk to formula. Do I just keep at it?

My milk always smelt funny after it had been in the freezer, even if its not for long. I think there is something that can change in some peoples milk.

I ended up throwing all my freezer milk away. It might be worth keep trying though and hopefully might get better.

Have you smelled and/or tasted the milk? If it smells soapy, then you may have excess lipase, and your LO may be happier with the milk if you scald it before freezing. https://kellymom.com/bf/pumpingmoms/milkstorage/lipase-expressedmilk/

I was just about to post the same answer. :)
