Help my nearly 11 month old hates wearing hats, he always has!

Is anyone else baby the same? If so how have you overcome this issue? I dont want him to be cold in winter now hes in a pushchair and cold is hitting him in his face and hêad x

DD hates hats too infact she hates anyone else wearing hats a sell (screams like she's being murdered) we've tried all sorts of styles she can whip them off in seconds.

I just buy her coats with padded hoods and I've also put her hooded jumper on as well if it's a cold day x

My eldest used to hate hats and would pull them straight off. 6 months later he developed a bond with one of his hats and would cry if we didn't let him take it to bed/in the bath etc. So yeah, things change!

For now I would just put their hood up. Could you try a scarf on their ears?

My DS went through this and probably will again when it starts getting cold. I've found perseverance to be the only answer. I put his hood up when it was cold and just kept putting his hat on until he gave in.

I find it harder to believe that there are babies who DON'T hate hats. My first wouldn't wear his hat until the cold from his second winter (August baby) made him prefer the hat to the cold. We'll see if my second child (September baby) gives in once the cold hits as well. I wouldn't worry too much, they're not going to just suffer in silence, and there'll be plenty of opportunity to explain that hats keep ears warm. It all works itself out.

My two pull them off, I bought the cutest sun hats and felt like putting them in the bin
