Leyla is almost 4 weeks old now, over a week ago she was a bit colicky and we started giving her colic drops with her feeds, we also use Avent bottles. the thing is she hardley brings up her wind anymore and shes not colicky anymore. anyone elses baby like this, im worried she.l get ill or something.

My second born was like this and the only possible way i could get his wind up was gripe water, and then when winding laying him on belly and rubbing his back, a pain i can tell ya as newborns dont have much head support lol,
Don't worry hun, she shouldn't get ill or anything babies have a habit of getting rid of wind one way or another :)

If it's not bothering her I wouldn't worry!

i use 5ml of gripe water in every bottle. Harry is terrible at bringing up wind. For example without gripe water i can wind him for an hour after a bottle, but with gripe water it takes 5-10mins at the most. So it still takes a while but no where near as long as without! X

My LO farts more than burps but as long as it comes out one end I dont care. Is ur LO farting??? It may be that thats the way bubs gets rid of wind rather than burping?!

My LO doesn't burp easily, she does fart loads though and we are using Avent bottles which apparently have some sort of flow thing in the teat which helps stop LO getting wind in the first place coz it directs air back into the bottle rather than letting LO get it (or something like that). Look up the info from Avent, it will probably explain it better than I have.

my lo struggles to wind im having terrible trouble and most nights are sleepless ones for me.i have reverted to dr browns bottles and gone from infacol to a liquid called colief(£10.99 from boots :()My daughter is 60% better on this but still can get quite poorly and upset and aggitated. Its time for a doctors visit i think, she also only poo's about 2-3 times a week so also constipated
xx
