baby not pooped in 3 days......

Hey ladies

i currently have my little lady on aptamil comfort for colic but she hasn't pooped since monday, ive also had to up the amount she was getting as the advised amount on the tub wasnt enough. Should i be concerned or is this normal? she usually poops every 2nd day.

has she pooped yet?
i remember my lo went a few days without a poo when he was around your los age. i was worried. i gave him an oz or two of cooled boiled water and that got him moving.
as long as she is still drinking her bottles thats good, as she needs to get the milk in to push the poop out.

put a little extra water in lo's bottle, that should do the trick!

My Dr. warned me it would happen and that it would be normal. Jade would go up to 5 days with no poop. She wouldn't drink water either, but she eventually pooped a little. Don't worry, and if baby drinks the water, give her an oz. Best regards

Yeah midwife told me that if they don't poop after 5 days to go the dr, they'll probs make u wait til 8 days before they do anything. She also said to try 1 ounce of cooled boiled water and gentle circles in a clockwise motion on her little tummy to stimulate poopies. I'd phone up ur MW if they still haven't pooped though for their professional advice. xx

yeah she went the next day thankfully. Gave her some boiled water so ont know if that done the trick. she's now on lactose free milk so hoping that makes her a bit more regular.xx
