Baby only wanting to breastfed for food and comfort..ie no cuddles away from boob etc

So baby cries if I hold him on any position that isn't on my breast? So no cuddles or cuddles with Daddy/play mat/moses. Due to this I'm guilty of just putting him on my boob to stop him crying! So his life is literally boob and sleep and my husband gets no cuddles?! Any tips? Will this pass? He is 10 weeks old. He won't take a dummy!

This is completely normal! At least it was for me, so I hope so! Even now, with DS just over a year old if he's super upset, or has hurt himself I put him to the boob and he instantly stops crying and feels better. As for cuddling with DH he just started doing it about a month ago. My husband never gave up though, he kept on trying to get him to cuddle and hang out with him, and eventually it just happened. For us it did take a while, but for my husband it was worth it. He used to be hurt by it, but babies only know their mom, and that's who they are biologically programmed to seek comfort from. Their dad is essentially a stranger at birth, and they need to build their relationship.

Yup. All he ever wanted was to nurse, even just for comfort. He wouldn't take a pacifier either, so I was it.
