Hey guys

Since weaning my little boy is pooing 4-5 times a day. Before he would go once per day or even every other day. There not huge poos but do smell, and vary in colour from a sticky Korma to water pale green is this Normal?
So far he eats, small amount of apple, carrot and swede mash, carrot , sweet potato and pear.

My 8 month old LO's poos certainly now vary in colour and consistency. For example, if she has had carrots, she has orange lumpy poo. If she has bananas it is more green with black bits. Yesterday she had grated cheddar cheese and today her poo smelled like cheese. Lol

She does poo more frequently, but at the moment I think this is more due to her teeth coming through than the food.

spaghetti bologneise poop made me vomit this morning! mines pooping all the time at and night! thats new!

My daughter was the same. Before weaning, she'd routinely go 2-4 days between poos and has since birth. Once we started weaning, she started going every day and sometimes 2-3 times a day. Weaning often makes babies constipated, but it doesn't work that way for everyone, especially if you're feeding lots of high fibre foods and avoiding baby rice and porridge, which can be more constipating. And yes, they do stink a lot more now!
