My LO is still a bit teeny for swimming, but we're hoping once she has her jabs and is a bit bigger to get her into the water.

Does anyone have recommendations for good swimwear for LOs? Ideally I'm looking or something with arms and legs (even short ones) to help keep her warmer for longer.

Thanks!!

Have a look in Matalan we are going away when he will be just 4 months they had them for boys and girls we have managed to find a couple of small ones in there that should hopefully fit.

Mothercare have some nice swim suits at the moment, they look like wet suits but are thinner fabric

I find the swimsuits in shops too thin and wouldn't keep LO warm. I think I can get away with them now but I used a splash about wetsuit when we started swimming as LO was only 3 months old. The pool was always heated more then normal pool but she still got cold quickly

Pretty much everywhere does little wetsuits. We got ours from Boots, but you can get them in almost every shop that does kids clothes. Our LO always seems so comfy in his little wetsuit and it keeps him warm. We've been taking him swimming since 9 weeks.

I have a baby wrap style velcro suit to keep LO warm for longer as well. Check on Amazon and you'll find a load of cheapie ones for £7ish. As well as keeping him warm, it gives me a good grip on him as he can be one slippery little eel in the water! :haha:

We got my daughters from mothercare and it has a matching sun hat for the outside pool, it was good value, I think both for £16 and actually in 0-3 months as we will be taking her swimming to centre parcs at 10 weeks and wanted something that would keep her warm but also provide protection from the sun in the outside pool.
