My sonoline B came on Wednesday. I managed to find baby's heart beat on my right hand side about 1.5inch about Pubic bone.
The average on the digital display is 171 or below.
Just wondering if it makes any difference on the rate of heart rate to the sex of baby??

Thank you :) xx

It's only a myth but it worked for some people but again whatever the myth there's always 1 chance out of 2 to be correct :D

Mine was around 185 at 8-10 weeks, then 175 and now it's around 150-160 and I'm having a girl :)

It's a myth. I have boy/girl twins and their heart rates were never more than 5 beats per minute different and it was onyl the odd once in a while it was even that far appart, i was monitored a LOT.

All that stuff indicated I was having a girl last time: ring test, Chinese gender, heart rate etc. I thought it was a boy though and I was right.

I heard anything above 150 is a girl below 150 a boy.
was right for my youngest wrong for my eldest

Thanks for the replies, obviously I know it's a old wife's tale but you just feel excited to guess haha!!
Did have another peak today and went to 158-172 so abit all Over the place.
Cannot wait for the 12week scan now :) xx
