Back Ache & Icy Hot?

Hello!! I'm 12+4 and starting today I had a really dull deep ache in the middle of my back (the area above my lower back). And I wanted to know if it should be okay to use an icy hot patch to help with the pain. I'm PARL so of course the back pain is making me nervous, but I'm not going to freak unless it gets worse.

I want to say no, but don't quote me. I have scar tissue in my ankle that I use biofreeze, icy hot, heat or ice, arnica... you name it, I have used it. It was killing me the other do so I did a cursory Google search. I forget what I found, but whatever I found led me to not using any of that stuff on my ankle and toughing it out.

I used bio freeze a few times when my back was killing me. As long as you aren't bathing in it several times a day, you should be fine. It is better than icy hot because it only goes cold.
