back ache = mild contractions

I had to have my 2nd lot of steriods today for baby lungs as having c section on tues and i mentioned to.midwife i had been experiencing really bad back ache coming and going and.that i was in tears with it last nite...
Well turns out i had some there she felt my tummy which was tighening she said i was having mild contractions her advice was to come home relax if they get worse to go straight to delivery suite explain my situation about being booked in for c section on tues....
I may not be having to wait till tues.. I am getting the back ache but its bareable at the moment still strong but just monitoring it at mo
