I have been having the worst lower back and hip pain for the last few days and some crampiness, its driving me crazy! I cant get comfy at night to sleep so I flip flop like a fish in bed all night from one side to the other, then eventually I try to sleep sitting up but then my back starts to hurt again. Will it ever end?? Sometimes it makes me worry because I know that lower back pain and cramps can be a sign of labor, but Im sure Im fine, just another silly worry us prego women come up with.

I just needed to vent about it! I swear I cant wait to sleep on my back again and be comfy:happydance:

oooh hun you'll be fine try lots of pillows at nite. im all over the place up down and when i finally get comfy i need a bloody wee :rofl: cant win

Ha I know how that goes! I have so many darn pillows on my bed wedged everywhere my husband barely has any room to sleep, and we have a king size bed!

ha i know an im really stroppy when i cant get to sleep. and start to blame him and tell he takes up all the bed ha ha poor OH

Hi, have you tried one of those body pillows? they are about 5 foot long.they look sooooooooooo good to snuggle on/up to:happydance:

I will be getting one soon but not just the pregnancy designed ones as they are 3 times as expensive.
I get really uncomfortable at night ,im only 20 weeks and only a lil bump at the mo but really tossy turny as so worried about the lying on the back thing is meant to be bad.
Its funny all these things they tell you to avoid etc it makes you wonder how previous generations got on at all!! cough*nonsense*cough :headspin:

As you keep on getting bigger, it just gets worse hun, sorry. I sleep with pillows wedged under me, and still can barely sleep. And they all end up at the foot of the bed cause I move too much. And from walking, Oh man my hips and lower back get sooo sore. Oh, and now driving for extended periods of time kills my lower back, hips, butt, knees, and ankles. The joys of being pregnant.

There is one thing that will help it, GIVING BIRTH. Actually you can try and do stretches throughout the day... but not much helps it.

Yea I have a body pillow called the "Big V Maternity Pillow." It helped more when I first got it, I started having a hard time sleeping at bout 15 weeks so thats when I got it, but now its not fixing the problem anymore. I will just have to get used to hurting!

aww sorry.
i can't sleep that much either
but its not that bad yet.
