Bad latch caused by new teeth = pain when feeding :-(

DS cut one his front teeth recently and it now feels like his tooth is rubbing on my nipple. I can't be sure that's what's happening but whatever is happening hurts He's also developed a bad habit if just pulling if when he's done which also really hurts. Am getting really frustrated with as I've never had problems before so not not sure how to rectify it

It does pass hun its just them learning a new latch, it if hurts to much say owe and pull off for a second, my baba now has 6

I never had it with dd.... It's just so painful... My nipples are raw at the moment

We've got the same thing going on here. When it's really bad, I say "ow" or "no" and take her off the boob for a second, she usually latches much better after that...so yeah, I think they need to learn a slightly different latch and it may take a while. In the meantime, I've started using lanolin again and it does help a fair bit.

I had this too with DD, it does pass just hang in there and get the lansinoh back out!

I did the same as the other ladies have said, just take her off and relatched!
