LO was born 4 days ago. Since 3 days pp I've had a really bad headache, it's on one side. Yesterday my eyes were funny, it looked like when you look at a right light and then look around, and at the bottom of my vision it looked like bright wavey water (hard to explain). I had a MW visit and she checked my blood pressure which was slightly raised but OK. Anyone know what it could be? She said its probably tiredness but I'm getting more sleep atm than I have been used to until recently, and don't feel particularly tired. I'm making sure to drink lots of water.

I have to say that I am just guessing here but could this be connected to your delivery? I hear that you can get headaches if you had an epidural or a spinal.

Just a though...I hope it goes away soon.

I had a bad spinal headache from the epidural? Did you have one? A telltale sign is if it gets better when laying down. Mine felt like my head was going to explode. It lasted almost a week with various severities. This was after a blood patch even to try and repair the area that was leaking.

I'm sure some can be less severe if it's a smaller leak.

Thanks for the input ladies :flower:. I didn't have an epidural or spinal but I did go at the gas and air pretty hard so maybe it is that!

Vision problems are the primary sign of a migraine. Mine are like looking through floating bubbles. Was there pulsating in your ears? Dizziness, nausea? You don't have to have all those symptoms, sometimes a migraine can be just the weird vision, called "auras". I've had them since my son was born. Mine get really nasty.

I had the same kind of symptoms after the birth of my daughter during the first 6 weeks. They eventually went away and came back just in time for my pregnancy. It starts off with visual disturbances then the migraine comes. Sometimes the migraine never comes though.

Congrats on the birth of your baby!
