My boys quite often like banana pancakes for their breakfast, made with only banana and eggs. Would this be an ok finger food to give my daughter when she starts weaning? I mentioned it to my mum and she wasn't sure if babies were allowed eggs when young?

TIA ladies :flower:

Yeah my lo 6 months and loves them. I also cut a circle in toast and fry egg in middle. When cooked cut in 4. I use different bun cutting shapes

As long as you are starting weaning at 6 months, then yes, perfectly fine. They can have everything but salt, sugar, honey and whole nuts from 6 months. My daughter loved egg.

Ditto to everyone below.. as long as there aren't any food allergies, the AAP suggests not waiting to introduce foods =). We love banana pancakes! Just yesterday we added a couple of tablespoons of quinoa. Baby gobbled it up!
