BBT and LH confusion

Hiya. I use the femometer and FF apps to tack bbt and other things. I thought I ovulated on CD 22 after my LH surge and before my temp rise but on both apps they are saying I ovulated a day before my rise in LH which makes no sense to me. Is this because they are going off bbt alone?

My bbt went up initially after what I thought was ovulation by 0.2 degrees but has continued to rise even higher. Does anyone else have this sort of rise after ovulation. Eugh I'm panicking something is wrong now.

You're on track. Progesterone causes the temp rise. So after o you will see a rise.
