BBT temps...does it mean I ovulated?

Yesterday (I think this was O day) amd my bbt was 96.9 today it was 97.55 if it stays elevated does it mean I ovulated?

Hi Ms_Friendly,

A temp jump of that magnitude does seem pretty likely to indicate ovulation, but you're right, it does need to stay elevated to confirm it. I think the rule that some charting sites use is 3 temperatures higher than your past 6 (someone please correct me if I am off on that).

Do you use a charting site?

Have you had any other signs of ovulation?

Do you use fertility friend? if your temp stays up for 3 FF will give you Cross hairs to indicate Ovulation. but that is a pretty significant jump, i would say yes you ovulated.
