Bed rest question for moms

I've been having enough contractions that the midwife put me on bed rest until 37 weeks, so it's not very long. But I'm curious to moms who were on bed rest before, once "freed" how long did it take LO to come? I'm still convinced she's going to be a late baby but hopeful she'll show close to on time.

With ds1 I was on bed rest from 25 weeks to 34. At 34 I was allowed light activities. .. no shopping or leaving the house really but could be out of bed. At 36 weeks I was allowed full activity and I was induced later that night with severe preeclampsia. I was on rest for contractions the preeclampsia was a surprise. But at my appointment that am I was barely dilated but by induction I was 2.5 cm and 100% effaced.

Thanks! Scary about your pre-e! Last week I was 50% effaced, no dilation but my cervix was soft so I'm curious to see how tomorrow looks. After doing nothing today I had only a couple contractions so resting must be what I need for now.
