Been referred to a specialist, what happens next?

Hi ladies,
Hope you don't mind me posting in LTTTC We've been trying for 14 months now and I have very irregular periods.
So the doctors have referred us to a fertility specialist I'm just wondering if anyone will know what they will do in the way of tests etc
I'm very excited, hoping this is finally it, that it might happen xx

Its usually HSG, bloods, Ultrasounds, Sperm analysis (repeated a few times)

Then treatment depending on what the issues (if any) are,

Hi there

it's most likely that they will take bloods and test you, maybe at specific times of the month, if you haven't been tested by your GP already. They'll also ask your partner to do a sperm test and may send you for and HSG https://www.advancedfertility.com/hsg.htm so they can check that your tubes are clear.

After that they will be able to give you a clearer diagnosis.

I had my 1st appointment on Tuesday. I had already had 21 day bloods 6 months ago & OH recently had SA.

With the FS, we got the SA results. I had swabs & an ultrasound.

Today I had 21 day bloods done again & next week I have to have 28 day bloods as I seem to be ovulating late.

Next cycle I have to go in for a procedure with dye to see if my tubes are blocked.

I then have to go back to FS in 3 months time for all the results.

Well we've got the bloods booked for tomorrow and o.h is ringing today for the sperm analysis
i just hope the wait for the specialist isn't too long!
