Belly button pain

Hi im 6 weeks pregnant after 2 mc's, since yest had an uncomfortable band type feeling around my middle and right sided discomfort at my belly button. Im bleeding slightly aswell although nothing compared to before. Just phoned epu for reassurance and they want me to go for scan tom morning im absolutely terrified any of you ladies experienced similar? l have that familiar feeling and just dont think im ready to go through it again wish l'd been more careful with hindsight and not got preggers again so soon xx

there's a nerve that runs near the belly button and it could be stretching (uterus) as well, so probably not mc-related, but in my case, was normal stretching, altho very uncomfrotable

do a search for it on this site (the whole site, not just PAL)...I know there were threads out there discussing this, and lots of women had it!

I had belly button pain early on (before 9w) and asked my OB. She said that while it was early, it wasn't something to worry about. I haven't felt pain there since then though, and I'm now at 25w. Could very well be growth pains...

Thanks very much for your replies ladies I've read online also that it can be stretching. I'm hoping that's all it is just stressing with everything that's happened before. Fingers crossed for tom anyway xx
