Belly Size And Band

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to ask you ladies a quick question, especially those who have experienced a c section.

I bought a belly bandit (postpartum band) in a medium, per the size instructions.

Of course it doesn't close at the moment because I'm still pregnant. But I was wondering should I at least get one that closes or comes close?

How long does it take for your stomach to go down? I know everyone is different, but hoping someone could chime in. I've gained only 20 pounds in this pregnancy so I know it's all tummy!

I bought the medium but it was too small! Ended up returning it and waiting for the large

I bought a belly band - can't remember the brand for my last pregnancy. I bought it according to my pre-pregnancy weight, which was a size small and it took several weeks for me to actually close it. In total, it took about 2.5 months or so for my belly to shrink and I even breastfed, but I gained almost 50 lbs - and I wasn't very big to begin with (size 4, U.S.) Good luck!
