Any suggestions?? I want to start buying some soon w/coupons so the cost won't be as extreme when baby gets here!

For DB's older son who is now 3, when he was younger we used pretty much every brand of diapers, Huggies or Pampers were fine any style, but Luvs always leaked.

I'm a big advocate for real cloth nappies. Never had one leak. They aren't for everyone though :)

I use huggies, pampers leak every time on me. I'm switching to cloth though

I used clothe diapers now... but at birth we used pampers baby dry and they were awsome. I am only using reuseable now to save money and be kind to the environment :D

We use huggies super dry.. for some reason, normal huggies and pampers didn't agree with him.

I would recommend Huggies newborn. I tried a few with Jason. Started off on Pampers newborn and I found them to be papery and leaky then I bought a packet of Asda newborn and they reminded me of, umm Sanitary pads(the fat maternity kind :S). I only put Jason in 2 of those before I ran out to get some Huggies. They are fantastic. I never got any leaks and they are super soft with cute Pooh Bear pictures also Huggies Newborn have the British Skin Foundation seal of approval that no other newborn nappy has. :)

We used Pampers Swaddlers...AMAZING. We were sad when she outgrew them cause they only go to a size 2-3. I loved that they had half-sizes too, and they were SO soft. They're the only thing that didn't give her little bum a rash!

when she was newborn we used pampers, and they were great, now i'm a big fan of huggies baby dry x

We dont get on with huggies, pamers baby dry are our favourite!

I think (and by the look of everyone elses answer) the type of nappy you use depends on what does the best job for your baby. Everyone seems to have a favourite. I wouldn't stock up too much as you may find the one you buy do not suit your baby. Maybe just a couple of packs. I had about 3 packs of pampers for Jason and I hated them before he was even finished with the first lot lol :)

I use pamper baby dry always have since birth had no probs XxX

I found huggies newborn is good but the next stage up is where I always started to have issues with leaking. I then switch to Pampers Baby Dry.

I love the Pampers newborn, but the huggies newborn dont seem to fit him comfortably. The asda ones are rubbish compared to Pampers and Huggies though, feel like cardboard in comparison! I think it depends on the baby, Pampers seem to fit his tummy where huggies dont, so I reckon different brands suit different babies.

As said Huggies and Pampers are ok, but we found with newborn Pampers leaked (out the top) and we tried Tesco...and have never had a leak from them and they are soft as well.

Pampers swaddlers, my husband and I are still really sad that Connor outgrew them because they are the most amazing diapers ever! I wish they came in size 3 :(

Oh dear! Looks like it just might be "guess and check" on this one huh? Maybe I'll buy a pack of each before baby is born and see which one works the best!
