Best easy way to save a little bit of pocket money....

For those who do online banking.

Someone told me that every time I log onto my online banking - which is usually about twice a week, to transfer the PENCE from my account into a savings account.

E.g today I logged on and my balance was £500.52... so I transferred the 0.52p into my savings.
I have over £7 already and only been doing it for a couple of months.

Can't wait til it gets big enough to get us a little treat.

I've heard about this before, going to start doing it this month!

I have a feeling barclays do something which rounds up everything you purchase on your card e.g. if you spent £5.40 at mcdonalds and then 20.25 on petrol, the mcds would be rounded to £6 and the Petrol would be rounded to £21.

I dont use barclays so you would have to check its the right bank, but quite good thought.

Lloyds TSB do this. 'Save the change' You can also have it go into your kids accounts. x
