DD is being taken on a shopping trip by her grandparents today :) They are keen to pick a high chair for her, and we are at the stage where she'd really enjoy one.

Does anyone have recommendations? I've read the Stokke (tripp trapp, I think?) is very good. Does anyone have any experience with it or any others to look out for / avoid?

Thanks!

I'm not sure what makes a "good" highchair? x

Apparently the tripp trapp is good in that the baby can sit at the table with you and the chair grows with the baby...but as it is made of wood it is quite inflexible in terms of getting the baby in and out of the chair.

We have the Chicco Polly which also turns into a chair...not sure whether its good or not really but it has different heights and reclines and you can put it up at the table with you as well. It also won an award?!

If I were you I would go with them and help choose!

The Stokke Tripp Trapp is great if you want LO sitting at the table with you (which we do). However we have the BabyDan instead which is exactly the same idea and looks just as good but a fraction of the price :D

The best highchair is one that fits into your lifestyle.

For us it was initially the tripp trapp, but I wanted one with a removable tray so ended up trawling the internet and getting the bebe confort woodline, which has a removable tray (removable being you don't have to unscrew it, it just clips out). However, it's discontinued so hard to gte a hold of. ebay has some, same buyer as I used (who is lovely and hid the receipt so hubby couldn't whinge at the price hehe!)https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bebe-Confort...ng_Highchairs_Boosters_LE?hash=item45f1bb1ade
