bf-formula poop question

i switched from breast to formula last sunday and my baby that pooped everytime he passed wind has only pooped twice since. when he has pooped he has gone bright red and appeared to be straining but the poo was normal rather than indicitive of constipation and both were rather large for such a little fella!

sometimes he is a little unsettled and im unsure if its because he needs a poo but cant......

He is on aptamil first milk and has plenty of wet nappies but im just unsure of what to do......if anything!

I'd just keep an eye on it, I think it'll regulate soon. If he seems to be in pain maybe switch formula?

try giving him an oz of cool boiled water, if he's constipated it will do the trick nicely!
