Bf help after 1 year old...painful

Hi, not been on this forum since my youngest was newborn but needing some advise.

My youngest has just turned 1 on the 17th. Past few days my nipples have become sore during nursing. Started off as one side and the next day was both. No cracks or really painful.. just discomfort and making it uncomfortable.

She still feeds twice in a morning, 1/2 in an afternoon and twice in the evening but sleeps through.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Mine is almost two I have had this sensation as well. I finally tracked down mine to being related to my cycle. When I am ovulating or close to AF my nipples become much more sensitive and nursing becomes painful. Thankfully it is only for a few days.

Ah lovely.. so it could be the return of my cycle then Shame
